20.9 million people trapped in forced labor

The International Labor Organization estimates that there are 20.9 million people trapped in forced labor, human trafficking and sexual exploitation worldwide.  This figure means that around three out of every 1,000 persons are suffering in forced labor (as of June, 2012).
